Taiwo Awoniyi has given several reasons for his great start at Bundesliga club Union Berlin.
He has thus far netted five goals in all competitions.
The former Liverpool striker said his permanent transfer to Union Berlin means he is a lot more focused than when he has to think about where he will play next season after season.
“Now that I am back to one place, I believe I’m more stable, more focused,” Awoniyi told the Bundesliga TV.
“It’s not like I’m working towards what’s happening after the summer, what’s happening in the winter and stuff like that. It’s not like that anymore.”
The striker also said he believes that the Union Berlin style suits him and he has also enjoyed the confidence of the coach.
“I think Union are a team that suit my style of play and the coach gave me the chance I needed,” he said.
“That’s why everything has been going well.”
