Moses Simon has recovered from a muscle injury in time to help home team FC Nantes beat Lyon Friday in continuation of action in the French Ligue 1.
Nantes drew 1-1 at Monaco in their opening game of the new season, beat Metz 2-0 only to fall to a 1-0 defeat at Rennes at the weekend.
“The defeat against Rennes was unfortunate, but we can look forward to the next game with optimism that we can secure our second win of the season,” said Moses Simon.
The Super Eagles winger was pulled out the weekend loss at Rennes after he suffered a muscle strain.
He said his substitution was a precautionary one as he has since resumed training.
