Gernot Rohr has said he believes the Super Eagles will have more quality should Paul Onuachu, Simeon Nwankwo and Terem Moffi move to bigger clubs in Europe soon.
The three strikers have enjoyed great seasons at their respective clubs and are expected to be rewarded with major transfers this summer.
“I think Onuachu, for instance, will have proposals from some bigger teams for the next season,” Rohr told ESPN
“Simy (Nwankwo)…I hope he will leave (relegated Crotone)…(Terem) Moffi too. I hope he will have a big club.”
Rohr has argued that having more players in some of Europe’s top clubs will improve his team’s chances to going all the way to the semifinal of next year’s World Cup in Qatar.
“When you see world champions France, the players are playing for Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, PSG, Manchester United,” he said.
“When we have players in the biggest teams, then we can say we have a chance to get to the semifinal of the World Cup.”
