Austin Ejide has told scorenigeria.com.ng he believes the Super Eagles will qualify for next year’s AFCON by defeating Libya in a qualifying double-header.
“I wish my dear Super Eagles victory on Saturday”, Ejide told SCORENigeria
“I’m a Nigerian and I am very passionate about the national team.
“I’ve been a part of them and always believe I’m still part of the squad.
“So, when they play, I see myself playing with them.
“That’s why I always pray for their victory and by the grace of God they will win and (eventually) qualify for the Nations Cup.”
Ejide is the first-choice goalkeeper of Hapoel Hadera, who are top on the Israeli Premier League table after six rounds of matches.
The Nigerian has posted four clean sheets this term following last season’s 17 clean sheet record feat.
The 34-year-old shot stopper has three World Cups under his belt.
