Hassan Lawrence scored one of the goals as Kristianstad FC won 4-3 at home to continue their battle to starve off relegation, but teammate and compatriot Abdulsalam Magashy was sent off for the second time this season.
Kristianstad beat front runners Tvaaker 4-3 with former FC Hearts star Lawrence getting on the scoresheet after 36 minutes to make it 2-1. He also assisted for his team’s third goal.
It was his second goal of the season for Kristianstad.
However, Magashy, another former FC Hearts star, was sent off in the first half for a straight red card offence.
He has now been sent off twice.
Both Lawrence, who recently lost his father, and Magashy have helped to lift Kristianstad to safety on their arrival this safety.
Defensive midfielder Magashy scored a contender for Goal of the Week in Sweden last week to give his team are rare road win.
The Swedish club are now 10th on the table with 27 points from 25 matches.
Tvaaker remain fifth on 42 points.
