Club Brugge forward Arnaut Danjuma was today called up by Holland for matches against Germany and Belgium.
He was previously listed on a provisional squad but Holland coach Ronald Koeman has now named Danjuma, who has hogged the headlines this week after his super strike in the Champions League at Atletico Madrid, in a 25-man squad for a UEFA Nations League game against Germany on October 13 and a friendly against Belgium three days later.
Should the Lagos-born forward feature against Germany in Amsterdam, he can no longer feature for the Super Eagles.
But if he only plays against Belgium, he could still go on to be capped by Nigeria.
Danjuma, whose father is Nigerian, has already played for the Dutch U21s, but he has said in a recent interview that he will “seriously consider” a call-up by Nigeria.
