SCORENigeria has learnt that Super Eagles defender Elderson Echiejile looks set to stay put in France after he was recently released by AS Monaco.
“He is most likely to remain in France,” a source close to the experienced leftback reliably informed.
“He has had several offers and he is studying them and very soon his destination will be public.”
Incidentally, Elderson started his career in Europe at French Ligue 1 club Stade Rennes before he moved on to Sporting Braga of Portugal, where he enjoyed his longest spell with a single club.
His previous other clubs include Sivasspor (Turkey), Sporting Gijon (Spain) as well as Standard Liege, Cercle Brugge (Belgium).
