TikiTaka at the SKF Arena in Gothenburg, Sweden

TikiTaka Nigeria are now condemned to beat Group 5 leaders IF Brommapojkarna tomorrow afternoon if they were to go past the group stage of this year’s Gothia Cup in Sweden.

Kick-off at the SKF Arena tomorrow will be 1.40pm Nigerian time.

With only the top two teams advancing to the knockout rounds of the annual competition, IF Brommapojkarna have six points from two matches after wins over whipping boys CCL of USA and fellow Swedish club IF Elfsborg.

TikiTaka, who reached last year’s final, are second on the table courtesy of a 3-0 win over CCL, same number of points as Elfsborg, who defeated them 2-1 in an opening group game.

Elfsborg are third in the standings but they are expected to also record a big win over the Americans, who are rooted to the bottom of the table, pointless and with a -12 goals difference.
