Kalu Orji has told SCORENigeria he is now looking forward to coming face-to-face with CHAN Eagles teammate Anthony Okpotu in the forthcoming Moroccan league.
Defender Orji has signed for Moloudia Club d’Oujda, while Okpotu has teamed up with another Moroccan club Difaa El Jadidi.
“I am happy for Tony Okpotu to also move to Morocco. We are teammates in the national team, but we will be battling against each other as soon as the season commences,” Orji told SCORENigeria
“Babatunde Michael has also returned to Morocco and that shows that the league in Morocco is growing as they have good facilities, structures and contracts for the players. It is exciting.”
The former Enugu Rangers and Heartland star said he has already settled down at his new club and hopes to help them hit their targets.
“I am in Morocco to make an impact,” he said.
“The expectations are high and I wish to help my new club win laurels.
“And the atmosphere around the team is good from the few days I have been here.”
