Imoh Ezekiel could well revive his career at Belgian club KV Kortjik after he was released by relegated Spanish club UD Las Palmas.
The Nigeria striker, 24, has already featured for Belgian clubs Standard Liege and Anderlecht.
He cancelled his contract with Turkish club Konyaspor over unpaid salaries to join Las Palmas during the last winter transfer window.
Ezekiel is now a free player after Las Palmas let him go on July 1 even though he still had a year left on his contract after he failed to make an impact.
Should he finally sign for Kortjik, he will link up with compatriot Abduljaleel Ajagun, who has become a mainstay of the mid-table club.
