Ahmed Musa still to know his club future after World Cup heroics

Nigeria World Cup hero Ahmed Musa has exclusively told SCORENigeria he is still uncertain about his future and will rejoin Premier League club Leicester City after a week’s holiday in Nigeria.

Ahmed Musa scored twice for Nigeria against Iceland and he has now returned to the shop window across Europe following the end of a successful loan spell at former club CSKA Moscow.

“Even myself I don’t know where I will be in the new season,” he told SCORENigeria on arrival in Abuja from Russia.

“What I know I will return to Leicester City in a week after a short break.”

Top Turkish club Galatasaray are among the clubs in the chase for Musa.

A picture on Twitter of the player’s daughter wearing a Galatasaray shirt has already gone viral, but Ahmed Musa laughed it off.

“It was a photo-shopped picture probably by one of the fans of the club,” he told SCORENigeria

The speedy was mobbed by fans at the Istanbul airport as well as on arrival at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport Thursday night.

Defender Shehu Abdullahi was also on the Turkish Airlines flight.
