Nigeria’s only surviving club on the continent Enyimba will battle Mali’s Djoliba AC, who eliminated MFM FC, in Group C of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Both teams will open the campaign on May 4 in Calabar, Nigeria.
The other teams in this group are Williamsville Athletic Club (Cote d’Ivoire) and Club Athletique Aiglons from Congo.
The top two teams from each of the four groups will qualify for the quarterfinal to be played on a home and away basis.
Asec Mimosas (Cote d’Ivoire), USM Alger (Algeria) and Al Hilal (Sudan) are some of the top clubs in the group stage of the championship.
No Nigerian club have won this annual competition since it was founded in 2004.
