Plateau United striker Tosin Omoyele goes for goal

NPFL champions Plateau United have crashed out of this year’s CAF Confederation Cup after they lost 4-0 at USM Alger of Algeria tonight.

They thus exited the competition 5-2 on aggregate after they won the first leg 2-1 in Lagos.

The Algerians scored twice in either half of a match they dominated from start to finish.

Plateau United did not offer much going forward and they were outwitted back in defence.

Despite their exit from the Confederation Cup, the Jos club are still being investigated for allegedly attempting to fix the first leg of this playoff in Lagos.

They have flatly denied any wrong doing.
