Joseph Akpala will be a free agent at the end of this season as Belgian club KV Oostende will not extend his contract.
This season he has only played a bit role having scored a goal in three appearances.
He was linked with a move to Cercle Brugge in January.
He has been at KVO since the 2015/16 season.
The experienced striker, 31, who has won a handful of Super Eagles caps, has played for several top clubs like Werder Bremen in the German Bundesliga, Karabukspor in Turkey as well as Club Brugge and Charleroi in Belgium.
