Gernot Rohr has again hinted young goalkeeper Francis Uzoho will again be in goal for the Super Eagles against Serbia tomorrow night after he shone against Poland last week.
Uzoho, 19, looks set to be the country’s No 1 at the World Cup in Russia ahead of Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Daniel Akpeyi
He has kept a clean sheet in the two games he has played for the Eagles, against Argentina and Poland.
But he has been sidelined at struggling La Liga side Deportivo La Coruna and has had to drop several divisions so as to play regular first-team football.
And so the more matches he plays for the Eagles, the more his confidence and experience will grow.
There are also strong indications that Rohr will give a run for several fringe players as well as fresh call-ups like Junior Ajayi of Al Ahly.
