Newly appointed Kwara United coach Abubakar Bala has told SCORENigeria he loves challenges after he took charge of the NPFL bottom team.
“I took the job not minding the position of Kwara United in the league because I love challenges and that will spur me again to limelight,” Bala told SCORENigeria
“I did that with Niger Tornadoes, they were in 17th position two season ago and we ended the season 11th on the table.”
He said he believes he can ensure Kwara United stay up in the NPFL at the end of the season.
“Kwara United can even finish the league in a modest position with the right attitude to work from the players, the coaches and the management,” said the Nigeria U20 coach, who led Tornadoes to the final of last year’s Aiteo Cup.
Kwara United have announced Abubakar Bala has replaced John Obuh, who resigned his position following a poor run of results.
Bala is expected to be presented to the media and public tomorrow at the conference room of the indoor hall, Kwara State Stadium Complex in Ilorin by 4pm prompt.
