Several Nigeria stars including Moses Simon and Uche Agbo will be involved in the rather complicated Belgian championship playoffs after the regular season ended today.
Club Brugge, who have Nigerian winger Emmanuel Bonaventure Dennis, were winners of the regular season but they will only be crowned champions should they also win the playoffs which will produce the clubs to represent Belgium in the UEFA Champions League.
Anderlecht, who finished second in the regular season, could well have back Henry Onyekuru back for the playoffs.
KAA Gent, who finished fourth in the regular season, have Moses Simon, Anderson Esiti and Samuel Kalu.
Standard Liege, who parade Uche Agbo, were the last team to qualify for the playoffs after they won 3-2 at KV Oostende today.
Uche Agbo was introduced in the 75th minute.
His club have also qualified for the Cup final in Belgium.
