Nigeria defender Akeem Latifu has told ScoreNigeria.com.ng his top priority is to help his new Norwegian club Sogndal win the league and return to the top flight at the end of the season.
The former Alanyaspor of Turkey right back signed a two-year deal with the club and he is ready to go all out to actualise his dream.
“I am fully ready for the challenges ahead. My top priority is to help my club win the league and secure promotion back to the top flight where the club belong,” Latifu told SCORENigeria
“I have also been assigned jersey number two.”
Latifu, an ex-Nigeria youth international who has two caps for Eagles, was a hero playing for Hodd, Stromsgodset and Aalesund (all in Norway).
The Iwoland indigene also featured for Ukrainian club Star Dnipro, Zara of Azerbaijan and Hungarian club Hobbes Budapest.
