Rosenborg BK coach Kare Ingebrigtsen has hailed the acquisition of former Nigeria U17 midfielder Igoh Ogbu, describing him as a “fantastic player”.
The top Norwegian club have given Ogbu, who only recently turned 18, a four-year contract.
“We have followed Igoh for a year and he is going to be a fantastic player,” the coach told the Rosenborg official website.
“He is a central midfielder but we have also played him at right back.
“Besides being a talented young man, he is also a nice guy. He has fitted in nicely with the group.
“It will be exciting to see how he develops when he has trained for an even longer time with the team.”
Ogbu has been handed No.30 shirt after successful trials and he said the transfer is great for his career.
“This is a good step in my career. My dream is coming true,” he said.
