Mustapha Abdullahi joins Lokomotiv Plodiv

Former Nigeria U20 World Cup star Mustapha Abdullahi has said he is delighted to sign a contract for two and a half years with Bulgarian Premier league side Lokomotiv Plodiv.

Lokomotiv Plodiv announced the transfer. 

Speaking to exclusively immediately after he put pen to paper for his new club, the former Wikki Tourists leftback, 22, expressed delight to have signed his first professional contract in Europe.

The former Nigeria U17 international said: “I’m grateful to God for given me the opportunity to sign with my first European Club in Bulgaria.”

CHAN Eagles defender Stephen Eze recently signed for the Bulgarian club, while Musa Mohammed was on loan there recently.

Mustapha Abdullahi concluded by thanking the fans and management of Wikki Tourists for the opportunity to be part of the club on a short stint.
