CSKA Moscow have given striker Aaron Samuel permission to attend trials with another Russian club Amkar Perm.
CSKA are fifth on the table, while Amkar Perm are barely above the relegation zone.
Aaron Samuel, 23, has struggled to establish himself at the Russian army club since he moved in the 2016/17 season.
His career has been held up by a long-term knee injury, which needed surgery.
This season, he has scored a goal in seven matches halfway through this season.
He has previously played in China and Norway.
