FC Ifeanyiubah coach Ladan Bosso, has told Scorenigeria.com.ng he was pleased his team bounced back after going three matches without a win to post an emphatic 2-0 win over Heartland in a match day 8 clash at Nnewi.
‘The Anambra Warriors’ have been without a win in three games and two goals on either half of the pulsating Oriental Derby by Ekene Awazie and Man-of-the-Match Seka Pascal sealed things for the home side.
“We are happy we were able to bounce back from our previous home draw and defeats at away,” coach Bosso told SCORENigeria
“I salute the players but essentially, I must say today’s win was a product of our management and supporters patience.
“Extra motivation by the chairman of the club, Chukwuma Ubah before the match also played a huge part.
“Before the match, he addressed the players and as you witnessed he presented gift items to the players.
“For this, I’m dedicating this victory to him.”
But FC Ifeanyiubah have been far less efficient on the road with the coach promising to change things quickly.
“Yes, we’ve not been that good in our away games so far,” he admitted.
“But if you observe well, we have never lost scandalously at away.
“It is either 1-0 or 2-1. We never go down without a fight.
“But we are going to piece together the positives we picked from this game, work on them and ensure we begin to earn respectable results at away games starting from this weekend”.
