Technical director of NPFL side Enugu Rangers, Christian Chukwu has assured there is no cause for concern for ‘The Flying Antelopes’ despite two opening losses in the new season.
A 2-1 defeat by Lobi Stars in Thursday’s NPFL match day two clash at Enugu broke the hearts of the club’s die-hard followers.
But Chukwu, who spoke when Scorenigeria.com.ng trailed him to his residence at Trans Ekulu, pointed out that though it was a painful defeat, Rangers will get their acts well as the action continues.
“Sometimes it happens this way. The truth is that the season will end well for Rangers,” he told SCORENigeria
“It is good these things are happening now than later and I know the club can deal with it appropriately.”
Defeats at Akwa United and a further embarrassing submission of the maximum points on home soil to Lobi Stars leave Rangers pointless after two games, forcing the hierarchy of the club into a crisis management meeting on Thursday afternoon.
