Nigeria players, from Anderson Esiti to little known Felix Agu, scored for their various clubs on Wednesday in friendly matches ahead of the resumption of league action in Europe.
Esiti scored a consolation goal for his Belgian team KAA Gent in their loss at Union Berlin.
The 23-year-old midfielder opened the scoring in the 12th minute to give Gent a 1-0 lead.
Nigerian-German Felix Agu was on the scorers’ sheet for Osnabruck in their 2-1 loss to KV Mechelen.
The 19-year-old midfielder scored in the 64th minute to give his team a 1-0 lead against Belgian opposition.
Another Nigerian, Emeka Eze, scored the fourth goal for top Austrian club Sturm Graz as they beat Allerheiligen 4-2 in another friendly.
His 65th minute goal secured a comfortable victory for his team.
