Highly-rated Jamba Academy of Kaduna striker Jerome Akor has won the MVP of the Tonsjos Soccer Development Tournament courtesy of his five goals in the annual competition.

His teammate Paul Bitrus scored four goals as Jamba Academy reached the semi-finals of the competition, which was won by a team led by former Eagles star Reuben Gabriel.

Big, powerful striker Akor is due for trials in Norway this month after he was scouted at a talent hunt programme staged by Atta Aneke last year.

Jamba Academy also won the fair Play trophy.
