Chairman Ondo State Football Agency Tajudeen Akinyemi has disclosed that Sunshine Stars will open a 10-day training camping in Iloko ahead of the new season.
The camp is to enable the team remain focused and to ensure that the players are physically fit and mentally alert ahead of the forthcoming season.
According to the chairman, the club have secured a good place with modern facilities to train and stay for the period of the ten days camping session.
Tajudeen Akinyemi added that the management decided to choose Iloko because of it serene atmosphere as distractions wouldn’t exist as the club demands almost concentration and focus during season’s preparation.
While sharing his ideas for the club, the Ondo State Football Agency boss expressed his commitment to a successful Sunshine Stars during his tenure.
“I’m here to reconstruct, re-engineer and put Sunshine Stars FC back on a road map of success, I have the philosophy of putting a team in a better state of comfort to achieve set goals,” he said.
Speaking further the Norway-based administrator showered praise on the team despite a 1-0 defeat to Enyimba in a test match recently.
The team are scheduled to travel this weekend to face Shooting Stars in another test match.
