Swedish club Ostersunds FK hope to beat hosts Hertha Berlin tomorrow night to win their UEFA Europa League group after they have booked their place in the knockout Round of 32, according to Nigeria striker Alhaji Gero.
Ostersunds top Group J with 10 points from five matches, while Athletic Club Bilbao are second on eight points.
The history-making Swedes pipped bottom club Hertha Berlin 1-0 in their opening group game and now hope for a result tomorrow in Germany for them to win the group.
“We want to win our group and a win or a draw tomorrow will make that possible for us,” Alhaji Gero told SCORENigeria
“Hertha are really a good team and also they play like us.
“We know we are already qualiifed to the next Round 32, but now we wish to finish top of the group.
“Our training has been going well after we arrived in Germany on Monday because the heavy snow in Sweden made it difficult for us to do so at home.”
The Nigeria striker has fully recovered from a head injury which saw him hospitalised overnight after a must-win clash against Zorya of Ukraine last month.
