Kola Raimi, the Squirrels of Benin Republic CHAN striker, has completed a move to Nigeria Professional Football League side Abia Warrios, Scorenigeria.com.ng reports.

Raimi was a thorn in the flesh of the Super Eagles during the reverse fixture of the CHAN qualifier in Kano recently.

With the CHAN Eagles coasting home with a 2-0 lead and 2-1 on aggregate following a first leg 1-0 defeat in Cotonou, Raimi fetched his side a penalty with just six minutes left to play.

But Nigeria goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa saved the spot kick to ensure the Super Eagles progressed to the 2018 CHAN finals in Morocco next month.

“We have completed the signing of Kola Raimi from Benin”, an official of the club told Scorenigeria.com.ng

Raimi played a significant role in Abia Warriors 1-0 triumph over FC Inter in the opening match of the ongoing South East/South South Preseason Tournament at FC Ifeanyiubah Stadium in Nnewi, Anambra State.
