Plateau United new signing Tosin Omoyele has said he believes he can carry on his scoring form in the NPFL after he fired 15 goals in the lower NNL, where the defending is a lot more robust.
“If I could score 15 goals in the NNL where the defenders will not allow you to play football, why can’t I do it in the NPFL?” asked former Osun United star.
Omoyele, who was a target of several top NPFL clubs, said he is delighted to join Plateau United, who will play in the CAF Champions League next year.
“I thank God for signing for Plateau United,” the exciting striker told SCORENigeria in Jos
“It has always been my dream to play in the NPFL and so it is a dream come true to join Plateau United.
“I wish to thank coach Kennedy Boboye for believing in me even though I am yet to play in the NPFL
“I hope to justify such confidence with goals and good performance.”
SCORENigeria first reported Omoyele has arrived Jos to sign for Plateau United.
