These are most certainly not the best of times for central defender Emmanuel Olowo after he was fired by NPFL champions Plateau United days after his house in Jos was burgled.
Kaduna-born Olowo was one of 12 players who has been told by Plateau United to look elsewhere for a job.
He only played a bit role as Plateau United made history by clinching a first-ever league championship.
The big defender has previously featured for Heartland and Sunshine Stars.
In the meantime, Plateau United have continued to agree personal terms with new recruits with Charles Henlong from Enugu Rangers the latest player to meet with club officials in Jos.
