Nigeria champions Plateau United are closing in on signing CHAN Eagles defender and vice-captain Chima Akas as well as Amos Gyang from Kano Pillars, Scorenigeria.com checks have revealed.
The Enyimba defender is among 15 players on Plateau United transfer wish list and he is already in Jos for discus personal terms with the hierarchy of the 2016/2017 NPFL title holders.
United on Wednesday held successful talks with Kano Pillars Amos Gyang.
Another CHAN Eagles player, Raphael Ayagwa of Lobi Stars, is also in Jos where he would discuss with the officials of the CAF Champions League-bound side.
“On Wednesday, we held discussions with Amos Gyang”, an official told Scorenigeria.com Thursday.
“Right now, Chima Akas and Raphael Ayagwa among others are in Jos to discuss with the management.
“We have 15 players we want to sign including Kingsley Eduwo of Lobi Stars.
“Discussions with the new players will continue as they arrive.
“I will know the latest arrivals later today.”
