NFF president Amaju Pinnick has disclosed next Wednesday’s executive committee meeting in Jos will deliberate on the recommendation of the technical committee for the various vacant national team coaching posts.
This disclosure comes amid rife speculations over the appointments of the coaches and their assistants of the country’s Golden Eaglets, the Flying Eagles, the Super Falcons, Flamingoes as well as the Olympic team.
“The executive committee will meet on October 18 and appoint the coaches for the various national teams,” Pinnick said.
The NFF president further disclosed that the Super Falcons coach has already been appointed and he has already began to contact the country’s top women’s stars ahead of next year’s programme.
The NFF technical committee headed by Chris Green grilled and recommended short listed coaches for the various positions.
