The executive board of the FCT Football Association has condoled two of their members who were recently bereaved.
The second vice chairman of the FA Adam Mohammed lost his father Air Vice Marshal Moukhtar Mohammed (rtd), a former Military Governor of old Kaduna State and chairman of Freedom Radio.
Bala Nikyu, former U17 female national team coach, lost his mother Godiya Nikyu at the age of 115 years.
In a statement in Abuja, the FCT FA chairman Musa Saeed Talle said the death of the two personalities came at a time when their children needed them most.
He thanked God for the good legacy they left behind for their children and prayed that Allah should forgive their sins.
He advised the bereaved to build solidly on the good legacies left behind by their parents and take solace in the Lord.
Adam Mohammed is the second vice chairman of the FCT FA and a board member, while coach Bala Nikyu is the head coach of FA as well as the FCT Sports Council.
