An inside view of the uncompleted new Jos Stadium along Zaria Road

Ex-secretary of NPFL champions Plateau United John Ladan has sent a passionate appeal to Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong to complete the Ultra-modern Zaria Road Stadium for the new NPFL champions to play CAF Champions League games next season as well as to stage Super Eagles matches.

What is left to complete the beautiful arena are the roof, provision of chairs, paint work and few other finishes.

The seasoned NPFL match Commissioner told ScoreNigeria.com.ng he fears Plateau United may not be allowed by CAF to play continental games at the Rwang Pam stadium and that the completion of the stadium could also bring the Super Eagles to right up to Jos fans considering our weather and how they love football in the city.

“I am sending this appeal to plateau state Government under Governor Simon Lalong to complete the stadium complex along Zaria Road in Jos,” Ladan told SCORENigeria

“Plateau United have picked a continental ticket but CAF may not approve the Rwang Pam Stadium.

“The government is doing its best to support the team and sports generally and it should not relent in itsr effort in supporting the team.”
