Emmanuel Emenike has specially told SCORENigeria he is proud to be a father for the first time following the birth of his daughter in England.
The Olympiacos striker said: “I’m proud to be a father, it’s a responsibility I have been looking up to and I must thank God for giving this precious princess at this point of my career.
“I love kids, I played with kids a lot even before I got mine. And I believe her presence in my life will be positive in my career especially now.
“Now, I want to be a good dad like my own late dad was.
“God has been so wonderful to me and this family, and all I can say is to keep thanking him for his glory to keep manifesting in my life.”
The striker is nursing a muscle injury that has sidelined him for several weeks, but he expected to be back in action for the Greek champions after the international break next week.
