Youngster Alhassan Yusuf has impressed on trials at Swedish top division club Hammarby IF and will begin another round of trials at another Swedish club BK Hacken today after his five-star displays at the recent Gothia Cup.
He has also interested another top Swedish side IFK Goteborg, who want him to train with them as well as another player from the Nigerian U17s under the auspices of TikiTaka Academy, who reached the Gothia Cup championship game against Right to Dream of Ghana recently.
“He was outstanding at Hammarby and they are already working at how they could strike a deal as he will only be 18 next year,” a source told SCORENigeria
“Alhassan was the heart and soul of the TikiTaka Academy at the Gothia Cup for the second straight year.
“He’s a big talent and has a very, very bright future in front of him.”
The FC Hearts attacking midfielder scored three goals and provided two assists as the TikiTaka Academy went all the way to the Gothia Cup final, where they lost by the odd goal to Right to Dream.
