Nigeria Olympic international Umar Sadiq has finally got his shooting boots on after he fired the match winner for his Italian Serie A side Roma in a 1-0 win over Slovacko in a pre-season friendly.
The lanky forward, who was a 46th minute substitute for Diego Perotti, scored in the 77th minute.
On Tuesday, he failed to score as AS Roma dismantled Pinzolo 8-0 in another friendly.
Umar, who replaced Cappa at the beginning of the second half, fired blanks for Roma.
The 20-year-old striker spent the 2016/17 season out on loan at Serie A club Bologna.
During his spell at Bologna, he made only seven league appearances without netting a single goal.
Roma reportedly paid 1.5 million Euros when they signed Umar from Italian Serie B side Spezia at the end of the 2015/16 season.
