Super Eagles in Corsica – (Standing left to right) Henry Onyekuru, Tyronne Ebuehi, William Troost-Ekong, Kelechi Iheanacho, Mikel Agu. (Squatting left to right) Uche Agbo, Alhassan Ibrahim ‘Muazzam’

Coach Gernot Rohr is expected to line up mainly the players he has worked with since he took charge in July 2016, just as SCORENigeria has gathered the Super Eagles will train again tomorrow morning before their friendly against Corsica.

Tomorrow’s game in Ajaccio will kick off by 8pm inside the Stade Francois Coty.

Rohr kept faith with his regulars for the friendly against Senegal in London in March with Olanrewaju Kayode and Isaac Success making their full international debuts only late on in the game.

Ahmed Musa

Team sources have suggested FC Ifeanyiubah goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa will start ahead of Portugal-based Dele Alampasu.

The defence will have matchday skipper Elderson Echiejile, Shehu Abdullahi, William Troost-Ekong with Tyronne Ebuehi, Uche Agbo and Chiedozie Awaziem all in line to debut tomorrow night.

The squad in Ajaccio are short on options in midfield with only Oghenekaro Etebo and new call-up Mikel Agu certainties meaning another uncapped player will be drafted to fill in at the middle of the park.

Manchester City ace Kelechi Iheanacho will lead the attack to be supported by Ahmed Musa with Arsenal target Henry Onyekuru likely to also be thrown in at the deep end.

Eagles likely starting XI (4-3-2-1) vs Corsica – Ikechukwu Ezenwa – Elderson Echiejile (Skipper), Shehu Abdullahi, William Troost-Ekong, Uche Agbo – Mikel Agu, Oghenekaro Etebo, Chiedozie Awaziem – Ahmed Musa, Henry Onyekuru – Kelechi Iheanacho
