Super Eagles will begin training 9 am Nigerian time in Ajaccio today ahead of Friday’s friendly against hosts Corsica, while officials said they expect Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho and Portugal-based midfielder Mikel Agu are due in later today.
“We will begin training this morning from 10am local time, which is 9 Nigerian time,” disclosed Eagles spokesman Toyin Ibitoye.
“We expect four players to join us later today including Mikel Agu, Iheanacho and Shehu Abdullahi.”
The Eagles landed in Ajaccio after an hour’s flight from Paris last night.
Friday’s friendly will kick off by 8pm inside the Stade Francois Coty in Ajaccio.
Local organisers said they expect about 5,000 spectators for this first-ever game between the two teams.
