MFM FC striker Stephen Odey has revealed he hopes to set in a new goals record in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) this season.
Mfon Udoh of Enyimba holds the all-time NPFL record after he scored 23 goals three seasons ago.
The 19-year-old Odey has so far netted 14 goals this season.
“I want to set a new goals record,” the young striker announced.
Odey’s coach Fidelis Ilechukwu has already backed the striker to set a new goals record in the league.
The Liverpool fan has been sought after by many European clubs, but he insisted he remains a player of MFM FC for now.
