Uche Agbo (left) in action for Granada in La Liga

Gernot Rohr has ordered Granada CF midfielder Uche Agbo he should stay put at his La Liga club and no longer join the Eagles in London even after he secured an entry visa to England.

Agbo himself told SCORENigeria: “The team secretary Dayo Enebi told me that Rohr said there will be no need for me to fly down to London as I got my visa only today.”

The player had to arrange several appointments with the British embassy in Madrid at his own cost before he was finally granted visa today.

The former Flying Eagles defensive midfielder has been called up to the Eagles last two official games against Zambia and Algeria, but he has yet to make his Eagles debut.

His absence in London could now work against his future invitations to the national team, officials said.

It is believed the coach is unhappy with the players who failed to make the London games on account of visa issues because he said they had enough time to sort out their travel papers.
