The Nigeria league has slammed various sanctions on coaches, players and officials with Kano Pillars coach Kadiri Ikhana fined and his Plateau United counterpart Kennedy Boboye handed a touchline ban.
Ikhana was fined 200,000 Naira for blasting the referees who handled his team’s match at Plateau United, while Boboye has a three-match ban with two matches suspended after he engaged in near fisticuffs with a 3SC official.
Shooting Stars general manager Rasheed Balogun was the official in question and he was fined 200,000 Naira.
Plateau United goalkeeper Dele Ajiboye has also been suspended for a game for his role in incidents during a league game at Shooting Stars.
They all have a chance to appeal these penalties.
